Nieghborhood Revitalization Plan
The Ellsworth County Neighborhood RevitalizationPlan offers a tax rebate for qualified improvements to structures in Ellsworth County. A tax rebate is a refund of the property taxes which would otherwise be payable on the actual value added to a property due to a qualified improvement.
Facade Improvement Loan Program
This program is designed for small scale renovation projects to the facade of commercial buildings in Ellsworth County. The program is available to provide an affordable financing option for improvements to commercial building facades in order to maintain the functionality, structural integrity and aesthetics in commercial areas. This program is provided through a partnership with the North Central Regional Planning Commission.

Gap Financing Programs
Grow Ellsworth County is proud to offer numerous gap funding programs. Gap financing is a type of short-term loan used to cover the difference between the capital a borrower has secured and the total funds needed for a project. Are there grants available for for-profit businesses?
We’re often asked about grant opportunities for businesses. While grants for nonprofits, schools, and community organizations are common, grants for for-profit businesses are very rare. Most business support comes in the form of loans, tax incentives, or investment opportunities rather than direct grants.
